Awesome Banana Bread w/ Splenda

Introduction

Still a cheat but way less calories than the yummy old fashioned stuff! Still a cheat but way less calories than the yummy old fashioned stuff!
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    4 very ripe bananas, 2 cups flour, 1.5 tsp baking soda, .5 tsp salt, 1 cup of splenda, .25 cups of butter melted and cooled ( i used a light butter), 2 lg eggs, 1 tsp vanilla, .25 cup of chopped raw almonds

original recipe called for sugar
original recipe called for 3/4 cups of butter where i used applesauce and light butter


Directions

preheat to 350 grease bread pan
combine flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl and put aside
mash 2 bananas w a fork leaving them chunky
whip other 2 bananas in a seperate bowl w splenda for 2 minutes
add melted butter, eggs and vanilla to banana splenda mixture and mix
add in dry ingredients...no need to over mix
fold in mashed banana and nuts
pour batter into prepared bead pan
bake for about an hour until golden brown and inserted toothpick comes out dry
cool before slicing

Serving Size: makes 10 slices
