Baked Yams

Introduction

Great source of soluble fiber to balance out an IBS tummy. Great source of soluble fiber to balance out an IBS tummy.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    2 large yams baked
    1/2 c unsweetened applesauce
    1 tsp cinnamon

Tips

Sometimes I add a bit of brown sugar if I want it sweeter. Otherwise the applesauce is a nice sub for sugar and butter in the traditional recipe.


Directions

wrap yams in foil and bake at 350 for about an hour, until done and soft. Let cool. Scoop out inside into a bowl, stir in applesauce and cinnamon.
