Caramel creme



Introduction

A not-so-creamy version of flan. A not-so-creamy version of flan.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Milk, nonfat, 1 liter
    Granulated Sugar, 1 cup
    Egg, 6 large
    Vanilla sugar, 10 grams (1 package)
    Granulated Sugar, 1/2cup
    Lemon juice, 1 tbsp

Tips


Directions

Mix the milk with 1 cup of sugar and the vanilla sugar and heat until the sugar dissolves, but do not bring to a boil. Cool the mixture and add the well beat eggs. Mix the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar with the lemon juice and caramelize in a pan. Do not burn the sugar. Spread the caramel into small cups (6-12 based on the number of servings you are making). Once it cools, pour the milk mixture on top of the caramel. Arrange the cups in a deep tray and fill the tray with warm water. Bake at 160 degrees (Celsius) for 3 hours. Let cool and serve cold.
