Grandma's Tuna Salad (for sandwiches)

Introduction

Chopped carrots and onion add great flavor! My Grandma always made tuna like this, so it is a favorite at my house! Chopped carrots and onion add great flavor! My Grandma always made tuna like this, so it is a favorite at my house!

Ingredients

    2 cans light tuna in water, drained
    12 baby carrots
    1/2 onion
    1/4 cup light mayo (I used Great Value)
    1/4 cup sweet relish

Tips

Serve on whole wheat bread with spinach for a yummy sandwich (not included in nutrition facts). The serving size is kinda small, you really get more like 1/2 cup of tuna per serving.


Directions

Place baby carrots and onion in food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Combine all ingredients and stir until completely mixed. Season with fresh ground pepper if you like to spice it up.

Serving Size: Makes 5, 1/3 cup servings
