Pasta with a tiny kick! Pasta with a tiny kick!
Number of Servings: 6


    1 can diced tomatoes
    Garden Rotini (dry), 3 cup
    Gourmet Chicken Sausage with Spinach and Asiago Cheese, 4 serving (links)
    Mushrooms, 4 oz can
    Garlic, 3 cloves
    Green Peppers (bell peppers), 1 pepper
    Parmesan Cheese, grated, .5 cup


Bring water to boil to make rotini as instructed on package.

Slice sausage into bite sized pieces. Place in skillet and "brown" (chicken sausage does not turn brown- check consistancy and temp). Slice pepper. Add pepper, cook 2-3 minutes until pepper is translucent. Add mushrooms. Saute until tender (add a little water if needed to keep mushrooms from drying out). Pour diced tomatoes over sausage. Add garlic. Turn on low and simmer 10-15 minutes or until pasta is done. Add parmesan cheese after turning off heat. Serve sauce tossed with pasta.

Serves 6.
