Chocolate Almond Milk

Introduction

This is my "go-to" recipe when I have a sweet tooth! This is my "go-to" recipe when I have a sweet tooth!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 c. almonds
    4 c. water
    2 pitted dates
    1/2 c. cocoa powder
    1/2 maple syrup (to taste)
    2 TBSP almond butter (or more)

Tips

May keep the ground almonds for another recipe.


Directions

Put water, almonds, and dates in blender and blend until creamy (about 1 minute).
Note: You may soak almonds prior, if desired
Strain liquid through a cheese cloth.
Clean out blender and put liquid back in with cocoa, maple syrup and almond butter. Blend for about a minute. Drink and enjoy.
