IntroductionThis is SIMILAR to the recipe from Noodles & Co, but not exactly. We left out the tomato and mushrooms, but they could easily be added. And we used a different type of Pasta. 1 box Barilla Fiori Noodle (you can use any shapes you like but use a hearty noodle)
1/3 cup white wine (we used cooking wine)
1/2 cup cream
6.25 oz. pesto (I used store bought but I bet it would be amazing with homemade)
Shredded parmesan cheese
We noticed that if you used HALF the amount of pesto and left everything else the same, it would have been closer to the same taste. So that is something to keep in mind as well. This recipe includes the original recipe we followed and our initial adjustments.
2. add the wine to the cream, reduce for 1-2 minutes. Add the pesto and stir well.
3. Drain pasta and add to the pesto mixture. Stir very well and let sit a minute to soak up the pesto.
4. Plate and top with shredded parmesan cheese!
