Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients

    4 green bell peppers with tops removed
    1 lb 93% lean ground turkey
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 cup prepared rice
    15 oz canned tomato sauce
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp oregano
    1/2 tsp basil
    4 oz shredded mozzarella

Directions

1. Brown ground beef and onions in skillet over medium high heat. Drain.

2. In large bowl, mix meat and onions, rice, tomato sauce, spices, and cheese.

3. Fill each pepper with 1/4 of the filling mixture.

4. Arrange peppers in baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees 45-60 minutes, until peppers are soft and filling is bubbly.
