QUICK FROZEN FRUIT TREAT
Submitted by: HONDABLONDEIntroduction
Quick and easy, you can use any fruit you like Quick and easy, you can use any fruit you likeNumber of Servings: 1
Ingredients
-
1 Cup Fresh Blueberries (or other berries), frozen
1/2 c Cream (use Half & Half for less calories, but carbs will be higher)
1 tbsp (or more, to desired taste) Sugar-free, flavored syrup, like DaVinci or Toriani (or Splenda) - I like Caramel, French Vanilla, Chocolate, and others, sometimes even mixing them
Put frozen berries into sturdy mug. Pour in desired syrup or Sprinkle in Splenda (or other sugar substitute) and gently stir to coat berries.
Add Half & Half (use Heavy Cream for lower carbs) to mug and stir well. As you stir, the cream (or the Half & Half) will start to freeze and thicken, until you have a soft-serve type of ice cream!
If you stir more, you can make the fruit into smaller chunks, and the mixture a bit more smooth.
PLEASE NOTE: This is an individual serving, although it is easily split and shared by 2. If you want more servings, use the above ingredients in another mug (or 2, etc).
Guests seem to love to stir their own!
