Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 pkg (6.oz.) Stove Top Suffing Mix for Chicken or Turkey
    1 2/3 cups hot water
    1 1/2 lb. ground turkey
    1 large red pepper, chopped
    1 can(14oz.) stewed tomatoes, undrained
    1/2 cup ketchup
    1/4 cup Catalina dressing
    1 Tbsp. chilli powder


Directions

Mix stuffing mix and hot water just until moistened; set aside. Meanwhile, brown meat in large skillet; drain.

Add peppers, tomatoes with their liquid, ketchup, dressing and chilli powder to skillet. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium low; cover. Simmer 5 min. or until peppers are tender.

Top with prepared stuffing. Cover; simmer 3 more min.

Makes 6 servings, 1 1/3 cups each.

Substitue: use any vegetable your family likes instead of pepper. Use the new "wheat" stove stop stuffing.
