Paleo- Beef & Broccoli Stir Fry

Ingredients

Coconut Oil, 2 tbsp
Garlic, 3 cloves
Top sirloin, 1 lb, sliced
Salt, 0.25 tsp
Lemon Juice, 1 lemon yields
Ginger Root, grated 2 tsp
Pepper, black, 2 tsp
Pepper, red or cayenne, 0.5 tsp
Chicken Broth, 0.25 cup
Broccoli, florets, 2 cup
Carrots, raw, 2 cup, slices
Scallions, raw, 1 large, sliced

Directions
Heat oil over medium heat. Season beef with salt and pepper, saute in oil until browned on all sides. Remove from heat, transfer beef to plate. set aside.
In a small bowl combine lemon juice, ginger, pepper, and red pepper flakes with chicken broth.
Reheat pan, add more oil if needed. Saute broccoli and carrots until they begin to soften. Add sauce from the small bowl. Cook over medium heat until broccoli and carrots are tender and sauce has reduced. Return beef to skillet and add green onions, tossing to coat. Simmer for a few minutes to heat through.
