This recipe was shared on a breastfeeding board as a way to get in more oats and flax-- easy home made energy bar like snack with ingredients I always have on hand. It's also very forgiving if you don't have all the ingredients around! Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    1 cup oats
    1/2 cup shredded coconut
    1/2 cup peanut butter
    1/2 cup ground flax or wheat germ (nutrition with flax)
    1/4 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
    1/3 cup honey
    1 t vanilla extract

Directions

Stir everything together, chill in the fridge for at least a half hour. Roll into balls, store in tupperware in the fridge.

Serving Size: 20-25 1 inch balls
