Hamburger Gravy

Introduction

Really stroganoff, but my kids wouldn't eat it if I called it stroganoff. Really stroganoff, but my kids wouldn't eat it if I called it stroganoff.
Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    3 pounds extra extra lean ground beef
    1 10 pkg frozen peas
    1 package fresh portabella mushrooms
    1 cup chopped onion
    1 16oz container reall sour cream -- no geletin
    1 10.75oz cream of mushroom soup

Tips

The biggest thing is to keep the food from getting to hot or your sour cream will turn to water. Can be served over noodles, bread, or potatoes. Your choice.


Directions

brown the ground beef wiht the onions, mushrooms, an frozen peas. You do not have to thaw the peas. Let this take it's time to cook, don't get the food to hot. Once everything is throughly cooked add the can of cream of mushroom soup, mix it through well with a large spoon. Take the pot off the heat and add in the container of sour cream. Mix it through well. Let cool about 10 minutes before serving.
