Introduction

Ingredients

    16 cups diced fresh tomatoes
    8 cups chicken broth
    1 cup chopped onions
    2 cups shredded carrots
    1 6oz can tomato paste
    2 cups whole organic milk
    4 tbsp dried basil
    1tbsp minced garlic
    2 tbsp tamari

Tips

Best way to add the milk is to measure it into a large glass measuring cup, then slowly add in the hot soup a spoon at time until the milk is warm. Then dump into the soup kettle and mix in.


Directions

Put the tomatoe, broth, onions, an carrots into a 12 quart stock pot and cook on med. until the onions and carrots are soft. Add the tomato paste and mix well. Add in the basil, garlic, an tamari an let cook another 20 minutes. Then remove from heat and slowly add in the milk.
