IntroductionThis can also be made with couscous (i did not have any on hand) This can also be made with couscous (i did not have any on hand)
3/4 cup bulgur wheat
1.25 cup water
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 dash salt
1 Dash of pepper
1 cup frozen peas
1/2 cup flat leaf parsley ,chopped
1/4 cup fresh mint ,chopped
3 strips of orange zest from fresh orange.
1 tsp smoked paprika powder or hungarian paprika.
1 Tbsp flour
1 large egg.
mint and chopped parsley add the frozen peas and zest from orange.
Form into 8 patties apx. 1/4 cup size each and fry in
a non stick pan for about 2 minutes on each side
until golden brown . Serve with a salad .
I found that they taste good with a sweet/hot chili sauce also.
Serving Size: makes 4 servings @ 2 patties each.
