Introduction

Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    1 pound ground beef, cooked
    2 cans diced tomatoes with garlic and onion
    2 16 oz cans chili beans, one mild, one medium
    1 6 oz can tomato paste
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    2 limes, juiced
    1 T Indian chili powder (or use 2-3 T regular chili powder)
    3 T tabasco sauce (smoky Chipotle is great)
    2 t pepper
    1 t salt
    water as needed

Directions

Makes approximately 20 adult servings (between 1/2 and 3/4 c each)

Brown the ground beef and drain the fat. Add beef, tomatoes (with juice), tomato paste, and beans to crock pot and stir to ensure combined well.

Add chili powder and garlic. Stir again, then cook on low for 3-4 hours.

Add salt and pepper and Tabasco. Cook another 30 minutes, then add the juice of 2 limes. Season as needed.

Add water if the chili gets to dry. If too liquidy, remove the top and let water cook off.
