Introduction

Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    4 28 ounce cans of any basic pork and beans I used Van Camps vegetarian
    1 large onion minced or chopped
    1/2 pound bacon cut in small pieces
    1/4 cup yellow mustard
    1/2 cup ketchup
    1/2 cup dark brown sugar

Directions

Pour beans into a large cast iron pot
Add brown sugar, mustard and ketchup
Saute bacon and onion in skillet
Then add to bean pot
Juices will thicken as it bakes
Bake at 300 UNCOVERED 3-4 hours
OR if you need them sooner BAKE AT 350 for 2 hours

DO NOT BAKE HOTTER THAN 350!!!!!!

Serving Size: About 23 quarter cup servings
