Oatmeal Berry Breakfast Shake

Introduction

No time for oatmeal? This shake has a lovely pink color and rich texture. No time for oatmeal? This shake has a lovely pink color and rich texture.
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1 cup oatmeal
    1 banana, peeled, cut into chunks
    16 frozen strawberries
    1 1/2 cups soy milk
    2 tsp honey
    1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

In blender, combine all ingredients. Blend on high until smooth. Pour into glasses.

Makes 2 16 oz. servings.

  • MMM could have this every day! I have never had a smoothie with oatmeal in it, but have had them with wheat germ. I will be buying more oatmeal, so I can enjoy this again. I added some yogurt and used cherry juice because I did not have strawberries. Worked well. Great breakfast on the go! - 8/9/10
