Ingredients
-
225 g soy mince
1 packet of toasts
2 grated onions
3 garlic cloves
1/2 tspoon of cinammon
2 tbspoons of mint
3 tbspoons of parsley
salt
pepper
1/2 tbspoon oregano
chilli powder ( optional)
flour and oil for frying.(i used like 3 tspoons. you don't have to deep fry them.)
Tips
just made this today... delicious! i actually liked it more than the real stuff.
but i had problems shaping the meatballs. i may not have drained the tvp as well as i should, i don't know. but i think that experienced vegans may want to add some silken tofu or so to make them more consistent?
Directions
1.Prepare the soy, following the brand's instructions.
2.Drain and rinse 3-4 times.
3.Drain your hands so that they won't be wet.
4.Mix the rest of the ingredients and shape the mixtrure into meatballs.
5.Roll each soyball in flour of your choice and fry in hot oil (you don't have to use much).
