My son loved this when he was a teenager. I sometimes added a cup of chopped tinned asparagus (info not included in nutritional information) with the cheese sauce. Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    Chicken Breast, no skin, cubed, 500 grams
    Onions, raw, chopped, 120 grams
    Potato, raw, chopped, 1 medium
    Yellow Peppers (bell peppers), sliced, 1 pepper, large
    Garlic, 3 cloves, crushed
    Ginger Root, 1 tsp, finely grated
    Salt, 1 tsp
    Pepper, black, 0.5 tsp
    Lea and perkins Worcester Sauce, 1 tbsp
    Water, 1 cup

    Cheese sauce:
    Milk, 3.25%, 100 mL
    Flour, white, 0.071 cup
    Cheddar Cheese, grated, 40 grams
    Hellman's Honey and Mustard sauce, 1 tablespoon


Directions

1) Cook all the ingredients (except for sauce) together for 30 minutes or till the liquid has reduced to about 0.5 of a cup.
2) Blend the ingredients for the cheese sauce in a blender till smooth'ish.
3) Add to chicken and stir for 2 minutes.
4) Reduce heat and simmer for 10 - 15 minutes till the chicken 'stew' has a thick sauce.

Serving Size: Makes 3 servings
