IntroductionServe with 3oz lean protein or 1/2 cup cooked brown rice, quinoa, wheat couscous etc. Serve with 3oz lean protein or 1/2 cup cooked brown rice, quinoa, wheat couscous etc.
1 whole head of cabbage
2 cans low sodium broth (beef, chicken, or vegetable)
1-2 16oz jars of salsa (depending on taste)
2 large stalks celery
1 large onion
Pepper to taste
Add additional 1/2 cup vegetables, 30z protein and/or herbs and spices to taste. (add extra calories to base recipe)
Cook 1/2 large pof of water with broth until boiling. Once boiling, reduce heat to low-medium and add chopped vegetables and cook 30-40 minutes. Add salsa.
Cook until vegetables are tender.
