Introduction

This brings so much memories back of my teenage years on a farm in South Africa. My mom made this as my favourite treat. She used normal jellie (jello) and evaporated milk.

This brings so much memories back of my teenage years on a farm in South Africa. My mom made this as my favourite treat. She used normal jellie (jello) and evaporated milk.


Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    Hartleys Sugar Free Lime and Lemon Jellie Powder, 23 gram(s) sachet
    Evaporated milk, full cream, 200ml
    Water, tap, 125 mL (boiled)
    Water, tap, 125 ml (ice cold)

Tips

Experiment with different flavour of jellies. If you use evaporated milk whip it till it nearly doubles in volume before you add it to the jellie mixture.


Directions

1) Add jelly (jello) crystals to 125 ml of boiled water and stir till dissolved.
2) Add 125 ml ice cold water to mixture and stir. Leave to cool.
3) Add evaporated milk and whip till foamy.
4) Refrigerate till set.


Serving Size: Makes 5 servings
