Banana Nut Oatmeal

Introduction

Oatmeal with fresh bananas and almonds. Oatmeal with fresh bananas and almonds.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    3 medium sized bananas
    28 Natural Whole Almonds
    1 Cup Old Fashioned Oats
    1 3/4 Cups Water

Tips

For spices you can add cinnamon and nutmeg on top. You can also add brown sugar to make it sweeter, however, that is not included in the nutritional facts here.


Directions

Peel bananas and mash in a bowl.
Chop almonds to a fairly fine consistency in a food processor.
Put bananas, almonds, and water in a bot and bring to a rolling boil.
Add Oatmeal. Cook for 5 minutes on medium heat stirring once or twice while cooking to prevent food from burning on bottom of pot.
Turn off heat, allow to sit covered for 3 minutes.


Serving Size: Makes 4 Equal Servings
