Tuna Pasta Salad (Fall 2012)Submitted by: EJOY-EVELYN
188 Gr Tuna, drained well (6.7 oz, 2 small cans)
7 oz Pasta Rings (dry macaroni), cooked tender
126 gr celery, diced finely
67 gr red onion, diced finely
67 gr sweet red pepper, diced finely
117 gr cucumber, peeled, seeded and diced
1/2 tsp white pepper
1/2 tsp salt
200 gr Miracle Whip light
2) When pasta is done, run icy cold water through pasta in colander to cool off and drain.
3) While pasta is cooking: clean, rinse, chop celery, onion, pepper, and cucumber into bowl. Add drained tuna and pasta, salt, pepper, and light dressing.
Eat immediately, or chil. I like to serve with a half-cup of bread and butter pickles on top or on a bed of chopped lettuce or greens (not in nutritional information).
