Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 can of low sodium sweet peas, drained
    2 cans of low sodium green beans, drained
    3 tablespoons unsalted butter(for sauteeing only)
    1 roughly chopped green bell pepper
    1 roughly chopped red bell pepper
    2 roughly chopped cooking onions
    1 tablespoon garlic powder
    1 tablespoon cumin powder
    2 teaspoons chilli powder

Tips

You will need a good blender or a food processor to make this recipe.


Directions

Drain the canned veggies and rinse well with cold water in a collander. Sautee the bell peppers and onions until soft, and remove from the skillet, leaving as much of the butter behind as you can. Add all the veggies and all the seasonings to the blender or food processor. Blend well.

Serving Size: Makes about 12 1/4 cup servings
