Introduction

Delicious on pasta, sandwiches, meats fish. Pesto has a very bold flavor so a little goes a long way. Delicious on pasta, sandwiches, meats fish. Pesto has a very bold flavor so a little goes a long way.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    2 cups fresh basil leaves
    1/2 cup parmesan cheese
    1/3 c pine nuts
    2 garlic cloves
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 cup chicken broth
    2 Tbsp extra virgin (be sure to use EVOO. It has more flavor)

Tips

Be sure to inspect the basil for cleanliness.
You can subtitute walnuts for the pine nuts if you can't find them or they are too expensive.
Can be frozen in ice cube trays for future use


Directions

Plave all ingredients into a food processor and process until it forms a thick spreadable consistency
