Pumpkin Pizza
Submitted by: SHELBSYDNumber of Servings: 2
Ingredients
-
2 oz pizza dough
3 Tbsp pumpkin puree
1 dash salt
1 dash pepper
1 dash cayenne pepper (optional)
1/4 cup (45 grams) Apple, sliced thin
2 tbsp. (18 grams) onion, sliced thin
1/2 oz goat cheese, crumbled
Tips
Directions
Preheat oven to 450 F
Put a pizza stone in the oven as it is heating up. If you don't have a pizza stone, take a baking sheet and place it upside down, so the rim of the sheet is facing down.
On a lightly floured surface roll pizza dough out into a circle shape. Lightly spray cooking spray on a piece parchment paper the size of your pizza. Place the dough on the parchment paper.
With a toothpick, poke holes in the dough. This prevents it from bubbly up.
Add your pumpkin puree onto the dough and season with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Top pizza with apple slices, onions and goat cheese.
Keeping the pizza on the parchment, slide the parchment paper onto baking stone or baking sheet. For easy sliding I placed my pizza on an upside baking sheet to slide it right onto the stone.
Bake pizza for 8 - 10 minutes until bottom is lightly golden and cheese is soften.
