Quinoa Cales

Introduction

Great recipe for vegetarians. Great recipe for vegetarians.
Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    2 cups cooked quinoa
    1/2 onion chopped
    1/2 green pepper chopped
    1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar
    1 egg and 2 egg whites, slightly beaten
    1/4 tsp chili powder
    1/4 tsp garlic powder
    Pinch of sea salt

    Topping (optional and not counted in nutritional values)
    Chopped tomato and avocado.

Directions

Saute onion and peppers in olive oil.
Miz quinoa, onion/pepper mixture, cheese, egg, egg whites, garlic and chili powders.

Fry in non-stick pan with PAM spray for each patty.
Cook till crisp on each side.

Serving Size: Makes 12 patties, 4 per serving
