Turkey Meat Loaf

Ingredients

    1 lb Ground Turkey
    1 Egg
    3/4 Breadcrumbs
    1 tbsp Basil
    1 8oz can of Tomato sauce
    1 tbsp Brown Sugar
    2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
    2 Tbsp Dried Onion
    1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard

Tips

I originally saw this recipe in a gluten free cookbook when I ate that way but since i no longer do, i substitute regular breadcrumbs and of course turkey instead of hamburger.


Directions

In small bowl add together 1 can of tomato sauce, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tbsp brown sugar and a dash of all spice, mix and set aside. In large mixing bowl slightly beat 1 egg, add 1 lb of ground turkey along with 1 tbsp Dijon mustard, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tbsp basil, 2 tbsp dried onion and the 3/4 c breadcrumbs, along with 1/2 the tomato sauce mixture. Combine together and move to loaf pan, pat down to create a nice flat top, take remaining half of tomato mixture and pour on top of the meatloaf. Cook at 350 for about 60 mins. 6 servings

Serving Size: Makes 1 loaf pan sized meatloaf
