Whole Wheat and Bran Choc Chip Banana Bread

Ingredients

    Banana, fresh, 4 small (6" to 6-7/8" long) (remove)
    Egg substitute, liquid (Egg Beaters), 6 fl oz (remove)
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Applesauce, unsweetened, .75 cup (remove)
    Granulated Sugar, .5 cup (remove)
    Salt, .5 tsp (remove)
    Kellogg's All-Bran Cereal, 1 cup (1 serving) (remove)
    *Whole Wheat Flour, 1.5 cup (remove)
    Cinnamon, ground, .5 tsp (remove)
    Baking Soda, 1.3 tsp (remove)
    *Yogurt, Yoplait Light Very Vanilla, Fat Free, 2 oz (remove)
    Pecans, .5 cup, chopped (remove)
    *Nestle Semi Sweet Chocolate Chip Morsels 1 cup

Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 2 8 X 4 Inch pans
In large bowl, mash bananas.
Add Egg Beaters, vanilla and applesauce - blend
Crush bran cereal in blender and mix with flour.
Add remaining dry ingredients (except baking powder) and stir well.
Dissolve baking powder in yogurt - put this in a large bowl - mixture will swell up. Add to the rest of ingredients and mix well.
Fold in nuts and choc chips and pour in to pans.
Bake for 45 minutes then test for doneness. May need to cook longer if toothpick comes out "wet"

Let cool in pan for 5 min. then remove from pan onto cooling rack.

Serving Size: Makes 2 loaves/12 slices each
