Chicken Bacon Pasta

Introduction

Ingredients

    Bacon 1/2 lb
    *Crushed red pepper, 0.25 tsp (remove)
    Garlic powder, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Pasta, cooked, 8 oz (remove)
    Grilled Chicken Breast Boneless Skinless Grilled or Broiled, 8 oz (remove)
    *Price chopper nuefchatel cheese, 2 oz (remove)
    Light Cream (coffee cream or table cream), .5 cup (remove)

Tips

Yikes! What a calorie bomb! But...insanely good. A special occasion!


Directions

marinate chicken overnight & grill, cook pasta.
Place cream & nefchatel in small saucepan, heat over low until cheese is melted, whisk until smooth.
Remove from heat.
Add Pecorino Romano, eggs garlic powder , red pepper flakes, & whisk until blended.
Drain pasta , reserving 1/2 c hot water, & return to pot/ Add white sauce & turn to coat. The hot pasta will cook the eggs.
Stir in the bacon & add the reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce. Top w chicken.

Serving Size: Makes 4 servings
