Pesto no pinenuts

Introduction

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    3 cloves garlic
    3 cups fresh basil
    15 sprigs of parsley
    1/4 cup romano cheese
    1/2 cup parmesan cheese
    1/2 cup olive oil
    salt and pepper to taste

Tips

If the paste is too thick, add more oil. If it is too thin, add more basil.


Directions

Mince garlic and add to a food processor with half of the basil. Process till coarsely chopped. Add olive oil and the remaining basil. Process until a smooth paste. Add cheeses and salt and pepper and process until blended.

No cooking is needed, but I had to put a number for the recipe to save.
