3 cups whole wheat flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 11/2 cups water
Mix dry ingredients together. in bread mixer. Add water until dough is moist enough. May not need entire amount of water. Use a dough hook to knead dough until good texture. Form balls to make 16. Use dough roller to flatten. Get them as thin as possible. Should be 6 to 8 inches diameter.
heat iron skillet on medium high. place tortilla in skillet. Bubbles will form quickly. Use a spatula to press down firmly but not too hard on bubbles. After about 1 minute turn tortilla over and repeat process. Don't cook too long.Tortilla should be soft. Place cooked tortillas in a plastic bag to keep warm. If refrigerating, let tortillas cool first.
