  • I made my beef mixture, stuffed the peppers with the mixture UNCOOKED, then placed them in oven at 350 degrees (covered casserole dish or pan), for about 35 minutes. The peppers were lovely and moist as was the meat stuffing. I enjoyed using the red peppers, (sweeter flavor appealed to my kids). - 5/25/10

  • This was great but I did several things differently, which I believe improved the recipe. First of all, I used the salvageable part of the pepper tops to chop up and saute along with the turkey and onion. Next, I used brown rice, which is more healthy. And, I used Kraft 2% milk cheese. - 2/3/08

  • This was a great way to do stuffed peppers when U were low on time, or didn't want to run the oven long. It did need a little more flavor, but that's easily solved with spices & maybe spaghetti or pizza sauce. My 2 guys loved it. - 8/21/07
