Introduction

I struggle eating salad when the weather starts to get cold so this is a great way to have warm comfort food but still eat a healty salad. I struggle eating salad when the weather starts to get cold so this is a great way to have warm comfort food but still eat a healty salad.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    3 C Mixed Field Greens
    4 oz Fat Free Deli Ham
    2 Tbsp Feta Cheese
    2 Tbsp chopped walnuts
    1/2 apple (chopped)
    2 Tbsp Fat Free Balsamic Vinaigrette
    1 Mini Cucumber (sliced)
    Cherry or Grape Tomatoes
    cinnamon (to taste)
    nutmeg (to taste)

Tips

You can add any veggies you like with it adding minimal calories.


Directions

Combine field greens, cucumbers,tomatoes and feta cheese in bowl. Dry roast walnuts in a pan on medium heat for several minutes and toss into salad mix. Sprinkle apples and ham with nutmeg and cinnamon to taste and roast in a pan for 8-10 minutes until warm and flavors meld. Add to salad while still warm. Top with dressing and enjoy!
