37.5g/1.5oz Caster Sugar
1tbsp/30g Golden Syrup
1tbsp Bicarbonate of Soda
300ml/0.5pint Double Cream
1.5tbsp/0.25 fl.oz Vodka
100ml/3.5 fl.oz/110.3g LOW FAT Evaporated Milk
Put the Bicarb in, stir well, then pour into a greased tray and allow to cool.
Once the honeycomb is cool, whip the double cream until it becomes thick but not fully whipped. Then fold in the vodka and condensed milk, whisking until the mixture is firm. Break in the honeycomb and mix well.
Pour the mixture into a freezer container and leave for at least 8 hours.
Whilst the recipe suggests that there will be 3 servings derived from the finished product, I think this is a bit of an underestimate.
