Ingredients
-
Ground Sage, 3 tbsp
EVOO, 2 tbsp
Honey, 2.5 tbsp
Chicken Breast, (2) boneless, no skin (I prefer the Simple Truth brand from Kroger)
Water, 1/2 cup
Add onions, garlic or another seasoning if you prefer a stronger taste.
Tips
Taste may increase if you let the mix of ingredients sit in bag, in fridge, overnight.
This is a good starter recipe with a mild flavor. Feel free to modify it to fit your needs.
Directions
Cube chicken
Put Sage, Honey and EVOO in a plastic bag with a good seal.
Seal bag and mix together by rubbing bag.
Open and add chicken.
Close and rub bag until meat is well coated.
Add half of the water to a skillet and turn on medium heat.
Empty bag into the skillet and spread around with spatula.
As water cooks off, add more.
Continue heating until cooked.
For stronger taste, add onions, garlic or preferred seasoning.
Serving Size: 4 servings, approx 1/2 cup each
