Spaghetti Sauce with Turkey Sausage, Mushrooms & Zucchini

Ingredients

    8 oz. Italian Turkey Sausage
    8 oz. sliced mushrooms
    1 1/4 cups quartered and sliced zucchini
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1 tsp. jarred chopped garlic
    1 26 oz. can Hunt's Roasted Garlic & Onion Spaghetti Sauce
    1 can Hunt's Diced tomatoes with Basil, Oregano, & Garlic
    2 tsp. Italian Seasoning
    1 tsp. Garlic powder
    1 tsp. onion powder

Directions

Removing casings from sausage. and crumble into a frying pan. Cook over medium high heat, until meat is no longer pink. Stirring often to break into small crumbles. Drain and put into a medium sauce pan. Add mushrooms, zucchini, onion and garlic to the frying pan with some olive oil. Allow to cook down and brown. Add to the sauce pan. Add spaghetti sauce and cook on medium. In a food processor or blender, process the diced tomatoes to desired consistency (leave it a little chunky if you like it that way). Add tomatoes to sauce pan. Reduce heat to medium low. Stir in Italian seasoning, garlic powder and onion powder. Let simmer for at least an hour but longer to make it taste even better. Stir occasionally to keep from sticking. Serve over your favorite noodles.
