Olive Oil, 1 cup Garlic, 12 clove Onions, raw, 1 large Crushed Tomatoes, 2 - 28 oz cans Salt, 1 tsp Pepper, black, 0.5 tsp Basil, 20 leaves
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add olive oil. Once heated add the finely sliced garlic and onion to the pan. Cook over medium heat until soft and slightly brown. Next add the canned crushed tomatoes, salt and pepper and stir. Allow the sauce to come to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and add the julienned basil. Good with the meatballs!!
