Introduction

A slight variation on the sauce my grandma used to make. Of course it's not really authentic Italian (except for the cooking time, which my grandma would not have bothered with) because there is both onion and garlic in the same recipe, but I can't bring myself to leave either one out! Ingredients

    1 Pound Ground beef, extra lean
    2 Cans Crushed Tomatoes
    Onions, 1 medium, diced
    Garlic, 3 cloves, crushed
    Red Wine, 6 fl oz
    Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
    Italian Seasoning
    Parsley

Tips

Serve over homemade pasta!


Directions

Cook the beef, onions and garlic in the olive oil until the beef is brown and the onions are translucent. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for about 3 hours.
