Yellow Sweet Corn, Frozen, 3.5 cup kernels (1 16-oz bag)
Corn, sweet yellow, canned, cream style, 1.5 cup(1 can)
2 sweet yellow onions, chopped
3 cloves Garlic
Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced
Milk, 1%, 1.5 cup
Curry powder, 1 tbsp (or to taste)
Dill weed, dried, 1 tbsp (or to taste)
*Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 2 tbsp
salt and pepper to taste
Combine corn, creamed corn, milk and spices with the onion/garlic/celery mixture. Adjust seasonings and salt/pepper to taste.
Heat on low until hot. Simmer for 5-10 minutes for thicker chowder. Be careful - corn and milk scorch easily!
Serving Size: makes 6 1.5- cup servings
