500g (or 1 pound) lean ground beef, thawed
500g (or 1 pound) lean ground pork, thawed
1 medium onion, chopped
1 bell pepper of your choice, chopped
2 sweet peppers, chopped
1 c dry oatmeal
2 t Italian Seasoning
2 T Worcester Sauce
1 T Chili flakes
1 T garlic Powder
Ketchup or tomato sauce
Feel free to add whatever seasonings you like. Trying various peppers is the mixture is very yummy for different balance of flavours.
2. Place meats in a large bowl, mix. Chop onion, bell pepper, sweet peppers. Mix vegetables with the meat. Add seasonings and Worcester, mix. Add eggs. Meat mixture should start to stick together.
3. form the meat into a loaf in the baking dish or place in your loaf pan. Bake for about 45 minutes.
4. At about 10-15 minutes remaining, drizzle the meatloaf with ketchup or tomato sauce of your choice and let it bake for the remaining 15 minutes.
Serving Size: 10 - 1 slice servings roughly.
