3/4 cups fat-free strawberry yogurt
1 cup whole grain pastry flour
2/3 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 lrg egg
2 lrg egg whites
2 cups Splenda No Calorie Sweetener
1 cup Splenda Brown Sugar Blend
1/2 tsp Almond extract
1/4 cup miniture semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup almond slivers
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Place yogurt in sieve. Set aside to drain for approximately 30 minutes. There should be about 1/2 cup drained yogurt. Discard liquid in bowl.
2.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat an 11" x 7 inch baking dish with canola oil cooking spray.
3.) In a medium bowl, mix blour, cocoa and salt.
4.) Place egge and egg whites in a large bowl. Using an electric mixer on medium speed. beat until frothy. Add Splenda No Calorie Sweetener, Splenda Brown Sugar Blend, almond extract, and yogurt. Beat until Splenda dissolves. Add flour mixture. Beat on low speed just until combined. Stir in chocolate chips, almond slivers and chopped walnuts. Pour mixture into prepared baking dish.
5.) Bake 30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on a rack.
6.) Divide into 15 evenly cut squares.
Delicious grab and go breakfast or with a cold glass of skim milk. Scrumtious as an after lunch dessert or snack time treat.
