The best potato salad around. Passed down from my mom with little adjustments through the years, this is liked even by those who say that they do not like potato salad. The best potato salad around. Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    Potato, raw, 5 large
    Butter, unsalted, 1 tbsp
    Hellmann's Mayonaise, 2 tbsp -- can substitute a light mayo-type salad dressing.

    Yellow Mustard, 1-2 tbsp -- should be a good shade of light yellow

    Milk of your choice .5 cup -- Figured with whole milk

    Eggs, boiled, 2 serving
    Pickle Relish, 2 tbsp
    Vlasic Sweet Relish,2 tbsp

Tips

Recipe figured on 8 servings. Some like this with onion to taste--about 1/2 of a large onion.


Directions

Peel, dice and boil potatoes until tender for mashing. Drain. Mash. Add boiled eggs, chopped fine. and remaining ingredients, mashing together. Serve warm or cold.

Serving Size:  makes 8-10 servings, 1/2 - 3/4 cups each
