Gourmet House Arborio Risotto

Ingredients

    *Arborio / Risotto Rice (uncooked), 1 cup(remove)
    Butter, unsalted, 2 tbsp(remove)
    Onions, raw, 1 large(remove)
    Garlic powder, 1 tsp(remove)
    White Wine, 4 fl oz(remove)
    Chicken Broth, 3 cup (8 fl oz)(remove)
    Parmesan Cheese, grated, .75 cup(remove)

Directions

In heavy saucepan, sautee rice in 1 T butter, stirring constantly.
Add onion and garlic salt, saute until onion is tender.
Add wine and sautee until absorbed.
Slowly add 1 cup of hot broth, stirring frequently.
As the liquid cooks down, continue to add remainder of broth, 1/2 cup at a time, until all broth is used and the mixture is very creamy. Fold in cheese, pepper to taste, and remaining butter.
