Deli Select Smoked Ham, 2 oz (remove)
*Land O'Lakes Deli Swiss Cheese (1 slice), 4 serving (remove)
*Boullion OXO Chicken 1 sachet / 4.5 g, 1 serving (remove)
*crystal margarine (costco), 1 tsp (remove)
Milk, 2%, .75 cup (remove)
*Alcohol - Pinot Grigio White Wine 1oz, 3 oz (remove)
*Flour, white, 0.2 cup (remove)
Chicken Breast, no skin, 16 ounces (remove)
Recipe is more for jogging my own memory as I didn't actually follow a recipe to begin with. It's loosely based on one I found on all recipes.com, but I use less flour, butter and no cornstarch. Also, I use milk instead of cream that is usually recommended.
Brown chicken well on all sides in skillet with small amount of oil or margarine. Add wine, salt & pepper. Cover and let cook 5-7 mins. Remove chicken from pan and place in dish in oven @ 200 degrees to continue slowly cooking. Turn up heat of skillet if necessary. Add milk mixed with oxo and a pinch of flour. Allow sauce to thicken. Place chicken back in sauce and cover while you prepare plates with potatoes or rice and a side of broccoli or other greens.
