Creamy Chicken Soup

Ingredients

    2 Tbsp light butter
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1 cup chopped carrot
    1 tsp celery seed
    2 tsp dried thyme

    1 can 98% fat free cream of chicken soup
    4 cups reduced sodium chicken stock

    3 cups chopped rotisserie chicken
    1/2 cup orzo or alphabets pasta
    1 cup frozen peas

Directions

Saute onion and carrot in butter until soft. Add celery seed and thyme. Add cream of chicken soup and chicken stock. Bring to a boil. Add chicken. Return to a boil and add pasta and peas. Return to a boil and cook for 5-10 minutes until pasta is tender.
