Rice Cooker Herbed Quinoa

Introduction

Adapted from Giada De Laurentiis herbed quinoa. Adapted from Giada De Laurentiis herbed quinoa.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    3 cups low sodium chicken broth
    2 cups quinoa
    1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
    1 Tbsp. dried basil leaves
    1 tsp. dried parsley leaves
    1 tsp. dried thyme leaves
    1/2 tsp. sea salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper

Directions

Place quinoa and chicken broth in rice cooker. Turn on and let it complete cooking.

Mix olive oil and seasoning in small bowl. Once quinoa is finished cooking, pour herbed olive oil into quinoa and mix thoroughly. Keep warm in rice cooker until ready to serve.

Serving Size: Makes 6 3/4-cup servings cooked
