Delicious homemade granola! Delicious homemade granola!Number of Servings: 12
Ingredients
-
Oats, 2 cup (remove)
Almonds, 1.25 cup, sliced (remove)
Coconut, raw, .75 cup, shredded (remove)
Salt, .25 tsp (remove)
Maple Syrup, .25 cup (remove)
Safflower Oil, linoleic, 2 tbsp (remove)
Cranberries, dried, sweetened (craisins), 1 cup
Tips
Any dried fruit can be used - I usually pick dried cranberries from the bulk food store.
Directions
Toast oats for 15 minutes on a large rimmed baking sheet. While toasting, stir all other dry ingredients except dried cranberries into a bowl. Whisk maple syrup and safflower oil in a small bowl and add to dry ingredients. Stir in toasted oats. Lay out ingredients as spread out as possible on a baking sheet and cook for 25 minutes. Stir in cranberries and let cool. Store in an airtight container.
