Chickpea Hummus

Introduction

A simple and easy hummus recipe that has been in our family for awhile. A simple and easy hummus recipe that has been in our family for awhile.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 15oz can Chickpeas, drained (reserve liquid)
    1/4 cup lemon juice
    1/4 cup tahini
    1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
    1/2 tsp kosher salt
    1/4 tsp garlic powder
    3/4 tsp cumin

Directions

Drain the chickpeas (reserve liquid). Add all ingredients to the food processor except the bean liquid. Slowly add in the bean liquid until you've reached the desired consistency (you'll need about 1-3 Tbsp of the liquid).
About 2 Tbsp per serving.

Serving Size: makes approx 10-12 2-Tbsp servings.
